The yarn/fiber is harvested from the alpacas that reside at FurHaven Farm and then blended with merino at local mills.
2ply DK is a more rustic spun yarn and leans heavy. This year's 2plys come from Cinnamon, Paris, and Bentley.
4 ply DK is more smooth and even in tone and weight. This year's 4 ply was milled in Pennsylvania and was sourced from fleeces from A Goode View Alpacas Beacon and Fare Thee Well. A Goode View Alpacas farm was located in Bedford, VA.
